The Florida Chapter, American College of Cardiology (FCACC) recognizes the dedication and excellence in cardiovascular medicine in the state of Florida through the presentation of several distinct and special awards each year at its Annual Meeting. Nominations can be sent to the FCACC Chapter Office by August 9th of each year to be considered by the chapter awards committee.
Founder's Award - The recipient is honored for his/her contribution(s) through initiating, developing and sustaining a significant and worthy change in the mission, goals, activities and/or policies of the Florida Chapter of the American College of Cardiology, through exceptional, sustained leadership to the Chapter (chapter member in good standing).
Distinguished Service Award - The recipient is honored for exceptional dedication and service to the members, committees, council and/or staff of the Florida Chapter, American College of Cardiology (chapter member in good standing or chapter staff).
