ADVOCACY COMMITTEE
Advocacy Committee of the FCACC is charged with advocating and communicating with the Florida Governor’s Office, the state legislature, and state agencies as well as the people of Florida on issues relating to improving the cardiovascular health of all Floridians and to promoting access to quality cardiovascular care in Florida.

COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE
The Communications Committee is charged with continually review the chapters methods of communications to assess the best way to inform the members of activities of the chapter.

EDUCATION COMMITTEE
The education committee is charged with assessing the educational needs of the chapter, organizing and providing education as needed. In addition, the committee reviews co sponsorship agreements.

THIRD PARTY PAYER COMMITTEE
The charge of the third party reimbursement committee is to monitor payment issues, establish relationships with third party payers, ensure cardiology is represented at CAC meetings and to advocate for fair compensation and prompt payment. In addition, the committee will act as the primary clearing house for billing and coding issues brought forth by the membership for resolution.

QUALITY OF PATIENT CARE COMMITTEE
The charge of the quailty of care committee is foster quality care initiatives to better the health of all Floridians.
